Programmes
Our regular programmes are conducted on a weekly basis.
Our Primary 1-4 English classes cover all the English components. To find out more, click here.
Our Primary 5 & 6 English classes are strategically split into two programmes: Author (writing programme) and Linguist (Paper 2, Oral, and Situational Writing). Many of our students take up both programmes as part of our dual-pronged approach. To find out more, click here.
Each lesson is 2 hours long.
Courses
Our short-term courses are conducted in cycles throughout the year.
Our 13-week Secondary Literature courses are conducted in cycles throughout the year. We have Poetry and Set Text courses. For more information, click here.
We also have PSLE and ‘O’ Level crash courses closer to the exams. For more information, click here.
Each lesson is 2 hours long.
All of our classes have a cap to create the optimal learning experience.
Primary
Our Primary 1 to 4 classes are capped at eight (8) students, while our Primary 5 to 6 classes are capped at ten (10) students.
Secondary
Our secondary classes are capped at ten (10) students.
The teacher-student ratio of our classes has been fixed for teachers to effectively carry out class discussions, keep our students engaged and give sufficient attention to each student regardless of their ability.
You can view our AY2024 class schedule here.
Our classes are spread out over the weekdays and weekends to cater to everyone’s busy schedules and teacher availability.
If you are looking for a slot that is not available on the schedule, drop us a call/WhatsApp at +65 9272 1027 and we can look into how we can create new possibilities for you.
Our weekly lesson cycle starts on Thursdays.
Of course! You may choose to enrol your child at any point in a term. If the lesson is not suitable for your child, our client service team will inform you and advise on a better time to start.
Please note that if you enrol 4 weeks before the end of a term, you will be billed the following term’s fees as well.
Make-up classes are offered within the same week cycle. Our weekly lesson cycle begins on Thursdays and ends on Wednesdays.
Here are the make-up options available:
-
Option 1: Attend an existing class within the same week cycle, or
-
Option 2: View the recorded lesson within a two-week time frame.
Please note that missed classes are to be made up within the same week*. There will be no make-up classes or compensation for students who fail to attend class without giving 24 hours prior notice. A copy of a valid medical certificate or school activity letter is needed to book a make-up class. Parents should call, send an email or text the centre 24 hours before the start of class in order to request for a make-up class.
*Once attendance is confirmed for a make-up class, another one will not be offered should the student fail to turn up for the scheduled make-up.
If there are no other classes available in that lesson cycle, students will have to view the recorded lesson within a two-week time frame.
We understand that our students have tight schedules and to the best of our efforts, we put our students first. For their benefit, it is recommended that students stick to their regular class as much as possible to minimise disruptions to their learning.
-
There will be no classes held on gazetted public holidays. Our teachers need a break too!
Students whose class(es) are affected by any public holiday will be offered a class within the same lesson cycle affected by the public holiday. Our client service team will reach out to the affected students and offer them the list of make-up classes available.
Here are the make-up options available if the student is unable to attend the prearranged make-up class:
-
Option 1: Attend an existing class within the same week cycle, or
-
Option 2: View the recorded lesson within a two-week time frame.

For public holidays that are in-lieu, regular classes will continue as usual. For example, Chinese New Year falls on Sunday, 11 February 2024. There will not be any classes on Sunday. However, classes will resume on Monday, 12 February 2024.
-
Lessons are conducted as usual during school holidays according to the calendar. However, specific to the End-of-Year school holidays (23 November 2023 - 20 December 2024), students have the option to select which classes they would like to attend during that period before payment is made for the term. For such requests after payment has been made, students will have to schedule for a make-up lesson or receive the worksheets to catch up on their own.
